No matter how healthy you are at home, you can't skip going to the doctor, especially as you age. At a minimum, you need an annual checkup to ensure your heart, lungs, and other vital organs are healthy. As you age, you'll also need annual cancer screenings. It isn't just your general practitioner that you need to see, either. Did you know that poor oral health can lead to other health issues down the line? Seeing your dentist at least once a year is essential for healthy teeth and gums. Depending on your age and overall health, you may also need to see other specialists.
