Step 1: Prepare your nails

Step 2: Apply the first coat

Apply the first coat of the base coat. It is better to keep it thin, because it will provide the adhesive surface to the powder to stick to. A thin coating will help you keep the surface even. Cover the whole nail with the base coat, so that every part of it gets powder.

Step 3: Cover the nail with dipping powder

Now dip your finger in the dipping powder, such that the nail maintains a 45 degrees angle while going inside the bottle. Emerge your entire nail. The excess powder will stick to your nail and skin, so tap it on the bottle gently, and let the excess powder fall back into the bottle.

If you want more coverage, repeat steps 2 and 3. After removing the nail from the dip powder, get a loose brush and wipe away the excess powder.  

Step 4: Apply activator

It is time to activate the dipping powder at Step 4. For this, apply a thin coat of activator on each nail. The colour of the powder will darken. Cover the whole nail thoroughly with the activator and give it time to dry before you proceed.

Now get a nail file to give your nails the shape you want. After doing this, apply another coat of activator, and give it time to dry. 

Step 5: Apply nail finish get

Now apply a layer of nail finish gel to provide protection to your nails. Nail finish gel will maintain the layers that were applied before it. After applying it, wait for 10 to 20 seconds, then apply another coat of nail finish gel. Let it dry, and do not touch your nails for around to 2 to 3 minutes.

Applying dip powder nails at home is an easy process if you know the procedure. Do not rush when applying these nail, because rushing may not generate the results you desire.
