Eastbourne is officially one of the seaside towns to watch. With a growing number of galleries and theatres, it’s making a firm place for itself within the alternative scene. Yet it still holds on to its seaside routes: with a pebble beach right by the pier and an amusement arcade. You can get the best of both worlds in Eastbourne. Do you need any more reasons to go? It’s the sunniest place in the UK so you’re bound to have the perfect summer holiday you well and truly need.

The Guardian voted Herne Bay one of the top 10 seaside towns in the UK. Once you get there it isn’t hard to understand why. You’ll feel like you’ve stepped back in time into a traditional British seaside town. It is very quaint. Visiting the Herne pier is an absolute must. You can explore the past and even have a go on the helter-skelter. Don’t forget your suncream!
