Reconnecting with the countryside is pretty rock’n’roll standard right?
OUTFIT OF THE DAY
Kimono // Primark
Ivory Packpack // Primark
I went through a little stroll down the Wirral Way, it’s been lovely reconnecting with nature, we strolled for over an hour and a got a tad lost, hopefully at the grand age of 20 my boyfriend is going to teach me how to ride a bike so I can cycle up this 12 mile stretch and go for an ice cream, sigh why did I read books as a kid instead of ride?
Anywhom I’ve been dressing more chill, this Aztec Kimono from Primark was about £10 and its pattern is divine. It’s more of a poncho than kimono and is great to sling on when you’re having a lazy day. I’ve put it with a tshirt from ENglorious I love the punk typography, it’s super comfy to wear and looks great tucked into a pair of jeans! I’m going to have so much fun this summer styling this up with shorts and skirts! Check them out here, they’e got some fab things up online right now! Speaking of jeans, let’s talk how great these are, I struggle with finding them my size, I’ve got a 35″ leg, yes I know I’ve got a short little torso and very long legs for someone of 5″11, they’re from Long Tall Sally and so so so comfy and the shred looks so perfectly done, I’m in love and been channeling more grungey jeans, who knows I might go for a flare next week, watch this space!
Of course grunge isn’t grunge without my trusty docs, the fur lining saved my cold toes this winter and mean I can do no socks sometimes, odd I know but socks just slip down somehow?! Dr Martens are a staple boot, I wear them to festivals because they stick to my foot! Last but not least is my funky minimalistic backpack from Primark, perfect for my camera, notepads and some gadgets, I’ve really digged white accessories, they always look so refreshing in an outfit, I don’t know man!
