I don’t believe Valentines day is for the taken, it’s a celebration of love, whoever it is, I know a lot of singletons who enjoy their young freedom and spending this time of year with their best friends, some say their memories are better kept with their friends. Fortuntely I’m spending my special day with my other half and my best friends, we’re all indulging in our favourite pass time; listening to musc! We’re going to a gig, and every couple is different and that’s what I love!
When picking out what to wear, my rule of thumb is to expose one part of the skin, if your chest confident show a tasteful amount of cleavage, if you’ve got lush arms opt for a mesh arm like me, I picked this Hybrid dress because it has the thicked mesh over the chest, but you don’t notice, I’m half breaking my own rule but technically still covered! Mesh covers all, sucks everything in and looks super flattering on anyones body. Teamed with some 40 denier tights and my favourite thigh highs and adding a splash of colour and texture in my Lipsy bag, they sold out like hot cakes but they have some other drawstring bags, I love the shape of them, and forces me to take the bare minimal!
Wearing black is always a safe option, I opted for a stretchy bodycon, it creates an amazing silhouette so it keeps it feminine and classy.
I love the idea of wearing red for Valentines but it clashes with my pink hair, but any colour is a winner if you can pull it off right! As the saying goes ‘I’ll stop wearing black when they invent a darker colour’
Let me know what you’re wearing this Valentines Day!
