I have a cape. I have wanted a cape for gods knows how long and now I have a wonderful blanket cape, I’ve always dreamt of going to university in my duvet and this item comes pretty damn close. I’ve teamed up with the wonderful Alex Elizabeth, to present two looks from two styles utilising this seasons best, biggest, comfiest accessory…the cape.
This pretty gridded monochrome cape is from Blue Vanilla, they’re pretty affordable and I’ve found myself browsing through their selection quite frequently, it’s one of those one size fits all kinda items so the oversized look is definitely a keeper!
Underneath I’m sporting a luxe velvet dress with cut out shoulders, I adore anything with a cut out shoulder, I think it looks sophisicated to show shoulder on a woman and black velvet had my name all over it, I adore Frank And Doll, they stock brands like Mink Pink and Regal Rose, definitely check them out!
You can perhaps see an ongoing love with animal prints, here is crocodile from Pauls Boutique via My Bag and snakeskin, my Hush Puppies are my new babies, I go everywhere in them as they take me places, I’ve had a ton of compliments and I never would have dreamt of wearing this taupe colour, totally not me by default, but they have a beautiful cut and design that makes me tailor a more muted wardrobe. Check out how Alex got on at her site with our cape challenge!
