Todays look was a little over-inspired by Audrey Hepburn and the modern day woman, I think this look is great to work from day to night, utilizing simplistic shape, colour and textures, contrasting the patent brogues against the leather on the bag against the shift dress it’s becoming one of my favorite looks and whilst black is a colour I overly wear I think it’s so versatile and can be worn in any context and look acceptable.
This jacket is possibly my favorite new item of this summer, I’ve longed for a suede tassel jacket and Rare London’s rendition is cool, comfortable and floaty, thin enough to wear during a hot day to throw on or as a staple statement jacket to wear out in the evening. The tassels are perfect and create great movement, something I’ve tried to play upon in the photos and release my inner 80s.
This shift dress from WallG is simplistic and chic, the cut falls a lot lower than most the dresses I own, I have issues with dress lengths due to my height, this falls at such a flattering length to cover up everyone and would be great at formal events too. I love the gold zip embellishments on both sleeves and the back as it draws the eye to those areas and differs it from the classic LBD. I’ve always wanted a classic LBD and this fits my style so well!
I’ve never been one to accessorize much but I’m a rings and watch kinda girl and this Olivia Burton Big Dial I got as a present goes with every outfit and is so beautiful to wear!
What are we thinking about me having my hair like this, I had a spare few minutes and whipped this together in a day dream and I’m thinking of experimenting more with my hair hmm
Overall I find this a great transitional piece moving into A/W and I cannot wait to throw a cable knit scarf over this, is anyone else lusting for cosy hot chocolate and chunky jumper weather already? I’ve seen far too many christmas collections released so early, stop it Stephi it’s August.

Your outfits are always so great! Black in August is usually a definite no from me, but considering how bad the weathers been lately its 100% acceptable! xo

Thank you so much!!!! It's a strange one, black holds onto heat so on the colder days maybe wearing all black is the solution!!! xx
Love your hairstyle and that bag is divine!

Thank you I'm really planning to do more things with it, I didn't realise how versatile long hair can be, but equally mid length hair like yourself I find is easier to style!!
So glad you like the post lovely 🙂
